| Frequently Asked Questions: | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| When can I drive a taxi? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Upon completion of the orientation program, you are able to drive as many or as few days as you would like, as long as you drive one shift per month to keep your contract active. Our shifts are available through out the day and evening to give you as much flexibility as possible. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| What if I start driving and would like to explore other fleets or areas of town? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Your success as a taxi driver is important to us. If you feel that you could prosper in another fleet or area of town, you have the ability to switch to another fleet at any time (depending on availability). | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| How should I dress as a taxi driver? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| You are a representative of your own business. First impressions are important. Always remember to be well groomed, dressed in clean, neatly pressed clothing and a welcoming smile. As a permit holder for the City of Orlando, you must also adhere to the Chapter 55 dress code regulations (these will be given to you during the driver orientation program). Facial hair is prohibited, with the exception of a neatly groomed mustache. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
