At Mears Transportation, safety is more than a consideration, it is a commitment. And that has been the Mears mantra since our inception over 70 years ago. In fact, the security of our riders and drivers is such a priority that we have invested and developed our own industry leading Safety Department, manned by a team of 8 fulltime employees. These seasoned employees within our Safety Department have been specially trained in safety inspections, troubleshooting protocols, state motor vehicle safety code compliance, as well as accident investigation and claims procedures. Our Safety Department is also currently on-line with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles and conduct updated motor vehicle reports on each driver every six months and criminal background checks on an annual basis.

So when it comes to transporting our guests, Mears means Safety.
